| Spatial data is already used in many fields, but its field of usage is likely to expand even more in the future. Many types of work that were performed using paper maps in the past will now be able to utilize new types of information through usage of spatial data. As the servicing of national spatial data infrastructure progresses, it is hoped that even the fields that did not have direct relevance with spatial data will find new types of information usage.
